Set Up Crew
This is a temporary ministry team that will help set up our outdoor services starting on April 4th. As part of the set up crew, you will work with both the tech team and facilities team to help make our outdoor services happen. This includes setting up the staging, tables, and chairs.
Our team works to help facilitate access to worship by connecting our congregation with the speakers and worship leaders. This is done through managing audio and video equipment to help our community better see and hear our services.
Kid City team works with student ages 3 to 11 years old by teaching them weekly by following a curriculum that teaches children ways to engage and strengthen their relationship with God. Kid City team members must commit to a regular prayer life and study of God’s word.
The Youth Group serves teens from 6th-12th grades with weekly services during the school year and several fun and enriching events throughout the year! Group leaders are spiritually mature, willing to build relationships, and ready to have fun!
The hospitality team is a great team to serve on if you enjoy meeting people and showing love to our church and community. It's also a great way to get to know your church family, by being a greeter, Usher, Service coordinator, or help with special events.
Lots of smiles, relationships, and spreading love happens on the hospitality team!
The Facilities Team serves behind the scenes to create a clean and welcoming experience for our Sunday morning services. Cleaning is the first thing that may come to mind, but we also complete small improvement projects and play an important role for setting up chairs and tables for outdoor services, which will be needed for this upcoming summer.
The HELP team is a ministry team that serves community and help those who are in need with things like bus tickets small loans gas food and other small needs to go along way.
The Prayer Ministers are dedicated to praying with, encouraging, and caring for those who attend City Life. We seek to build relationships with City Lifers, journey together through life's ups and downs, and encourage each other to continually grow one step closer to Jesus. Due to the nature of our role, Prayer Ministers need to be committed to consistent church attendance, intentional relationship building, and praying out loud with others.
I.T. / Website
As the way we do ministry has changed significantly over the course of the last year, the I.T. needs for the church have also drastically changed. We have deployed Office 365 to all staff members and life group leaders as needed to support the need for more virtual meetings. We also support, and maintain, the network infrastructure for everyday use.
As we work to communicate more effectively, we are also looking for more people to help with the upkeep of the website so information is always up to date and accessible by our church and those we might be looking to make City Life their home church.
Being a life group leader gives you the opportunity to exercise teaching and shepherding gifts. This is an opportunity to help people follow Jesus more knowledgeably and more intentionally. Life group leaders teach classes approximately 8 to 12 weeks long.
The worship arts ministry consists of the band, vocalists, the tech team, stage design team, and creative elements. We are looking for musically gifted and/or creative types who want to use their gifts for the purpose of creating an environment that helps people connect with God.
