KID CITY

CITY LIFE CHURCH

Jesus loves the little children! They are precious in His sight. Let’s bring them to Him!

Children are a blessed legacy, responsibility, and hope. Our time, love, and care are well-invested in them. Let’s come alongside each other to raise them together as a community!

In Kid City, children (babies through 5th grade) learn about Jesus… the one who loves them and has big plans for their lives. Their imaginations are shaped by God’s Word. Kids develop healthy relationships with each other and the adults that serve on the Kid City team.

We meet during both the 9:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. services on Sunday morning.

Please feel free to reach out to The Mayor of Kid City, Sara VanderVelde. <[email protected]>

MARCH AT KID CITY

Series Overview:

GLOW IN THE DARK: A 5-Week Series from the Gospels on Easter.

In the dark, a world of neon colors comes to life. Whether it’s the soft green of glow-in-the-dark stars or the bright colors of bioluminescent creatures, light can break through the darkness. When the world needed some light, God sent Jesus because he glows in the dark, and he can teach us how to shine with God’s light, too! In this five-week series through the Gospels, we’ll follow Jesus’ life leading up to Easter to see some of the ways he can shine bright in our lives. As we explore, we’ll see Jesus is the light in the darkness. We’ll also learn how we can choose Jesus and know God hears our cries while celebrating how Jesus died and rose again!

TIP OF THE MONTH

The days are long, but the years are short.

You may have heard this saying when it comes to parenting: “the days are long, but the years are short.” Time moves faster than we think it does. So what can we do to maximize our time with our kids?

If you’re subscribed to the Grow Kids subscription, now would be a good time to add the Parent Tip Video titled, How To Make The Most Of Your Family Time. Tip videos can be found here: Dashboard > Families > Tools > Open in Dropbox > Parent Tip Video.

RESOURCE OF THE MONTH

Looking to Easter…

As we look ahead to celebrating Easter with you, we want to provide you with high-quality resources to help you help your kids fully embrace the Easter story. In, “The Garden, the Curtain, and the Cross Storybook” we go on a journey from the Garden of Eden to God’s perfect new creation to help us understand why Jesus’ death and resurrection are good news for us. We will be giving away a book to a family who pre-registers for the GLOW event on March 22!

Purchase “The Garden, the Curtain and the Cross Storybook: The true story of why Jesus died and rose again” here.
